Margaret Comard
Lynch has been with the firm since 1983, and has been a
partner since 1988.
Margaret's practice areas
include Civil rights, including sexual harassment and
discrimination, age discrimination and claims under the
Americans with Disabilities Act; Products Liability, Municipal
Liability, Premises Liability and auto accidents. She has
tried numerous cases in the State and Federal Courts of New
York as well as before the United States Equal Employment
Opportunity Commission and the New York State Division of
Human Rights.
She has been a member of the
Executive Committee of the Trial Lawyers Section of the New
York State Bar Association since 1990, and served as
treasurer, secretary and vice- chair. She served as
chairperson of the section from 2001-2002.
In addition, Margaret has
served on various committees of the New York State Bar
Association including, the Committee
on the Jury System, Internet Coordinating Committee, Committee
on Court Reform and others. She has also served on the Board
of Directors for St.
Catherine's Center for Children since 1986 and served as
president of that board for five years.Margaret currently serves as the representative of the
Third Judicial Department to the Judicial Conference
(9/1/02-9/1/05) , and is a
member of the Judicial Screening Committee for the
Albany County Democratic Committee.
Margaret has lectured
extensively throughout New York and in Europe on matters
pertaining to Trial Practice and Civil Litigation.
She is a 1978 graduate of
The College of the Holy Cross and a 1982 graduate of The
Albany Law School of Union University.
Margaret resides in Loudonville, N.Y. with her husband and two
children.
